Lessons
Lessons are offered to all riders regardless of discipline. All students begin learning a
foundation of skills that build to success in horse handling, safety, and skill. Lessons are
private and are one hour in length.
Boarding
Full or partial care boarding is available. The barn is equipped with 12’x12’ stalls, indoor
riding arena, multiple turnout pastures, roundpen, and acres of open fields.
Training
Bar-O Equine primarily works with problem horses and young horses. The training team
has thorough experience with reining, western pleasure, and hunter-jumper horses.
However, this certainly is not the extent of their knowledge and skill; all disciplines are
welcomed and encouraged.
Breeding
Bar-O stands a registered quarter horse stallion, Colonel Poco Peca. He is bred from a
long line of cutting champions including Colonel Freckles and Poco Bueno. His athleticism demonstrates the greatness of his bloodlines.
Clinics
Trainer Mike Loughman is a tried and true clinician. He hosts clinics at his Bar-O home
or he travels to other facilities to teach people how to strengthen their skill and
horse-human relationships.
