Making Sense of Saddle Fitting

Many people don't realize how important saddle fitting is to their horse's health and performance, as well as their own riding ability.  Behavioral problems, lameness issues, and the inability to progress in training can often be linked to a poorly fitting saddle.  Riders that consistently struggle with their own position and balance may also be experiencing the effects of a saddle that does not fit properly.  It is not uncommon for riders to spend a great deal of money on riding lessons, horse training, massage therapy, corrective shoeing, supplements, and chiropractic appointments to discover that saddle fitting is a hidden culprit contributing to the issues they are having.  Why not have your horse's saddle fit evaluated as well?  Or better yet, be proactive and include saddle fitting as a part of your horse's regular maintenance schedule.  Saddle fitting is an investment that pays for itself, as a properly fitting saddle will contribute to your horse's soundness and help maximize your riding potential.

Whether you are looking to maintain a saddle you already love or would like to start searching for that perfect saddle, we offer an array of saddle fitting services to assist you in making you and your horse comfortable.  Since we are not affiliated with a particular saddle brand, you can feel confident that you are receiving an unbiased and honest opinion.  Saddle fitting can be a confusing process, but we're here to answer your questions and help you make sense of saddle fitting!
